Accommodation

The Diocesan Pilgrimage uses several Hotels which are booked for us through our Tour Operator, Tangney Tours.  Several of these hotels are long-standing favourites with our pilgrimage and are very popular, and some of them have been recently refurbished and are finished to a very high standard.  Many of the staff in these hotels get to know many of our pilgrims who return year after year.

To book one of the Hotels you will need to obtain a Booking Form from Tangney Tours and return it to them.

All Hotels that we use offer en-suite accommodation on a “full-board basis”. This means that you will have breakfast, lunch and evening meal.  It is all included in the overall cost of your pilgrimage.

The hotel rooms do not usually have tea or coffee making facilities in them as in the UK, but most hotels offer a tea and coffee service at their bar, but Lourdes also has many cafes and bars where you can purchase hot and cold drinks.

Some of the hotels are a slightly further walk away from the Sanctuary in Lourdes and may not be suitable for the elderly or the infirm.  If unsure, please check.

For further information about the Hotels and if you are unsure as to which one  is best for you during the pilgrimage it may be better for you to ring and speak to a representative at Tangney Tours (01732 886666) or to email the Pilgrimage Office via our ‘Contact Us’ page.

As we are unable to travel on Pilgrimage as a Diocesan Family at this time, the information on this page is historical and for information only. This will be updated once travel is permitted again. Thank you for your understanding.
